About the position

The Dynatrace Instructional Design Team is dedicated to the planning, design, creation, and management of educational and enablement materials for the Dynatrace platform. We are looking for a talented Instructional Designer who will be responsible for creating and developing high-quality, effective, and engaging learning assets, including online courses, guided learning paths, and assessments tailored for Dynatrace customers, partners, and employees. The role requires an in-depth understanding of the Dynatrace platform, third-party software, and industry technology to effectively manage the logistics and development of these learning assets. As an Instructional Designer, you will develop and produce end-to-end, high-quality e-learning and live training curriculum. You will design and establish principles and standards using sound instructional design methodologies to create repeatable, quality learning solutions. Mentorship is also a key aspect of this role, as you will guide internal enablement program managers and instructors on best practices in instructional design and enablement solutions. You will plan and execute instructional design strategies and programs, such as OnDemand e-learning courses and instructor-led training sessions. In this position, you will assess knowledge gaps to determine the necessary learning materials for effective enablement. Building relationships with Dynatrace platform experts will be crucial for gathering course requirements, developing course content, and soliciting feedback. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining learning activities and exercises, including labs, guides, and knowledge checks. Producing high-quality course materials using editing and multimedia development tools is essential, as is creating storyboards that include audio scripts for video content. You will need to develop a comprehensive understanding of the Dynatrace platform and keep pace with enhancements to ensure course updates and continuous improvement of existing learning programs. Implementing quality assurance for all learning development and assets, as well as analyzing customer feedback and satisfaction metrics to refine learning materials, will be part of your responsibilities.
