About the position

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Sr. Instructional Designer to join our Learning and Development team. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging training programs and materials that enhance the skills and knowledge of our service center employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving learning experiences. In this role, you will be tasked with curriculum development, where you will design and develop comprehensive training programs, including e-learning modules, instructor-led courses, job aids, and blended learning solutions tailored to service center needs. You will also focus on leadership and performance management development, creating training programs that enhance leadership skills, performance management, and employee engagement. Evaluation and assessment are key components of this position. You will develop evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs, including assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with subject matter experts, service center managers, and other stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with business goals. Project management skills are crucial, as you will manage multiple instructional design projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. You may also facilitate training sessions as needed, both virtually and in-person. Leveraging learning management systems (preferably Bridge) and other technological platforms to deploy and track training initiatives will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will support other learning and development initiatives as required.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs, including e-learning modules, instructor-led courses, job aids, and blended learning solutions tailored to service center needs.
  • Develop training programs focused on leadership development, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Develop evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs, including assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, service center managers, and other stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with business goals.
  • Manage multiple instructional design projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Facilitate training sessions as needed, both virtually and in-person.
  • Leverage learning management systems (preferably Bridge) and other technological platforms to deploy and track training initiatives.
  • Support other learning and development initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, preferably within a service center or customer service environment.
  • Proven experience in developing leadership and performance management training programs.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), LMS platforms, and multimedia editing software.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM), and best practices in training development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated creativity in designing engaging and interactive learning experiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field.
  • Experience with gamification in training programs.
  • Certification in instructional design or a related field (e.g., CPLP, CPTD).
  • Familiarity with business operations and performance metrics.
