About the position

The Sr. Instructional Designer is responsible for conducting comprehensive job-task analyses and needs assessments to identify training solutions and enhance performance. This role involves developing training program goals and objectives, designing curricula in collaboration with subject matter experts, and creating interactive e-Learning products. The designer will also evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to ensure learning outcomes are met.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth job-task analysis and needs assessment to determine training solutions.
• Develop individual training program goals, overall program objectives, and module objectives.
• Design training curricula and programs in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Utilize e-Learning applications to create interactive training products.
• Design evaluation strategies to validate learning outcomes.
• Research, select, and modify existing training materials to meet learning needs.
• Review program evaluations and feedback to recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Proficient in Articulate 360.
• Experience in conducting job-task analysis and needs assessments.
• Knowledge of instructional design theory and adult learning theory.
• Ability to create new training programs from scratch with some managerial guidance.
• Experience in designing various training methodologies including e-Learning, classroom, and on-the-job training.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of underwriting processes.
