About the position

The Sr. Instructional Designer at Goosehead Insurance is responsible for designing and developing effective learning solutions that support employee growth and organizational development. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to assess training needs, create instructional materials, and develop engaging learning experiences that align with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Designing comprehensive training programs, including e-learning modules, workshops, and blended learning solutions.
  • Utilizing learning management systems (LMS) to organize and deliver training content, monitor progress, and assess the effectiveness of training initiatives.
  • Creating programs that enhance employees' skills, knowledge, and competencies, supporting leadership development, onboarding, and other talent initiatives.
  • Working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure learning solutions meet organizational goals and enhance overall performance.
  • Assessing the impact of learning solutions through feedback, data analysis, and metrics, and making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years instructional design, talent development experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in Learning needs analysis, Setting objectives, Content organization, Instructional and Talent strategies, Assessment design, Evaluation, Delivery mode selection, Project Management.
  • H.S. Diploma.
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, Synthesia or Vyond, Microsoft Suite (PPT, Excel, Project, Outlook, Teams, etc).

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent 7+ years' work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in leading teams (direct or indirect), Learning Management System functionality / features.
  • Experience with Adobe Firefly, Mentimeter, Assima, Captivate, Camtasia, Workday LMS.
