About the position

The Sr. Instructional Designer is responsible for creating training materials focused on sales, product knowledge, and technical training for both internal and external audiences. This role involves collaboration with various teams, including product management, R&D, marketing, and sales, to gather content and develop effective training presentations and exercises for diverse audiences such as plumbers and distributors. The position specifically supports the Commercial Water business at Rheem.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales, product, and technical training materials for internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with product management, R&D, marketing, and sales teams to determine training requirements.
• Gather content and develop presentations, hands-on exercises, and other training materials.
• Create training for in-person, webinar, and LMS-based formats.

Requirements

• Proven experience in instructional design or a related field.
• Strong understanding of sales and product training methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with LMS platforms and e-learning development tools.
• Familiarity with the plumbing or HVAC industry.
• Project management skills.
