About the position

The Sr. Instructional Designer is responsible for conducting comprehensive job-task analyses and needs assessments to identify training solutions and enhance performance. This role involves developing training program goals and objectives, designing curricula in collaboration with subject matter experts, and creating interactive e-Learning products. The position requires a strong understanding of instructional design theory and adult learning principles to ensure effective training delivery across various formats.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth job-task analysis and needs assessment to determine training solutions.
• Develop individual training program goals, overall program objectives, and module objectives.
• Design training curricula and programs in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Create interactive e-Learning products using template-oriented applications.
• Design evaluation strategies to validate learning outcomes.
• Research, select, and modify existing training materials to meet learning needs.
• Review program evaluations and feedback to recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Proficient in Articulate 360.
• Experience in conducting job-task analysis and needs assessments.
• Knowledge of instructional design theory and adult learning principles.
• Ability to design training for various formats including classroom and e-Learning.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of Underwriting.
