We are currently seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our dynamic sales team as a Genetic Analysis Instrument Sales Representative. As part of our team, you will be crucial in driving sales and revenue growth for our advanced scientific instruments and consumables (qPCR, dPCR, Capillary Electrophoresis). This is a field-based sales position within Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding their assigned geographic territory forecast.
  • Energetically pursue new sales opportunities and establish strong business relationships with current and future clients.
  • Possess strong technical acuity in the areas of qPCR, dPCR, and Capillary Electrophoresis.
  • Develop impactful account and territory plans and convert them into measurable business achievements.
  • Manage sales funnels and excel in hunting, prospecting, and closing deals.
  • Promote and sell consumables related to Genetic Analysis solutions.
  • Lead sales process including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking through Salesforce and other IT tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field required.
  • 5+ years sales experience in Life Science, with 1+ years of capital equipment experience.
  • Knowledge of qPCR, dPCR, Sanger sequencing, and microarray.
  • Selling experience in academic, pharmaceutical, and biotech accounts.
