About the position

GlobalFoundries Fab 8 is seeking an experienced professional to support the 300mm semiconductor process integration team. The core responsibilities of this team involve ownership of process integration from development, customer engagement to production. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of developing and delivering advanced technology for mass production. Additionally, the ideal candidate can demonstrate a technical understanding of various processes and an understanding of a balanced scorecard approach to develop, sustain, and improve the technologies with quality, cost, and delivery all considered. The role requires feature-rich process development in various technologies including FINFET technologies, FDSOI, eNVM, HV, Photonics, and RF. The candidate will collaborate with the process module and packaging team in driving process solutions and will work with Technology Development and Business Unit to oversee the scope of projects, ensuring that all technical needs are catered to. It is essential to perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner while supporting all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of process integration from development to production.
• Feature-rich process development in various technologies including FINFET, FDSOI, eNVM, HV, Photonics, and RF.
• Collaborating with process module & packaging team to drive process solutions.
• Working with Technology Development & Business Unit to oversee project scope and ensure technical needs are met.
• Performing all activities in a safe and responsible manner, supporting Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

Requirements

• Master's Degree with 11+ years of working experience in relevant field.
• Experience leading engineering teams and developing advanced technology for mass production.
• Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Strong project management skills focused on managing schedules, scope, and cost trade-offs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written.

Nice-to-haves

• PhD with 9+ years of working experience in relevant field.
• High-Volume Manufacturing experience in FEOL/BEOL processes with relevant technologies.
• Results-oriented and focused on quality of work.
• Excellent structured problem-solving skills and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
• Strong presentation and technical writing skills.
• Self-starter and highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
