About the position

As a Senior Integration and Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions and system integrations to optimize business operations. This role involves gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring that the delivered solutions meet their needs. You will lead integration and automation initiatives, manage cloud integrations, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure confidence in the technology solutions provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration and automation initiatives, setting technical direction and driving cross-team collaboration.
• Design, develop, and oversee the maintenance of automation scripts and tools to streamline and optimize business processes.
• Architect and manage integrations between various systems and AWS services, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, gathering requirements and providing technical guidance.
• Architect scalable and reliable integration solutions that align with business requirements and technical constraints.
• Oversee and participate in the testing of automation and integration solutions to ensure functionality, reliability, and security.
• Maintain detailed documentation of automation processes, integration workflows, and system configurations.
• Lead efforts to identify opportunities for process improvements, proposing and implementing innovative automation solutions across the organization.
• Provide high-level support for existing automation and integration solutions, troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years delivering IT solutions to business initiatives across cross-functional teams.
• 5+ years of experience in integration and automation engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and .NET for scripting, development, and automation tasks.
• Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, SNS, SQS).
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and data integration methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, IaC).
• Strong collaborative skills, with experience leading cross-team technical projects and mentoring junior engineers.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
• Proven experience in managing relationships with non-technical stakeholders, building trust, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
