About the position

The Sr. Integrity Risk Specialist - Team Lead at the World Bank is responsible for leading the Preventive Services Unit (PSU) within the Integrity Vice Presidency (INT). This role focuses on preventing and mitigating integrity risks in World Bank operations, ensuring that resources are effectively utilized to combat fraud and corruption. The Team Lead will mentor the PSU team, develop strategies for collaboration across various units, and enhance the integration of PSU's work within the broader framework of the World Bank Group's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and mentor the PSU team to align with INT's strategic objectives.
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for PSU's operations within the PRKM framework.
  • Ensure effective onboarding and training for new team members.
  • Monitor progress against individual work plans and adjust as necessary.
  • Build and maintain effective networks with stakeholders to facilitate outreach and collaboration.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate representations of PSU's work for internal and external communication.
  • Collaborate with the Knowledge Management team to develop training materials and conduct workshops.
  • Ensure routine reporting and consolidate inputs for senior management updates.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a field related to international development or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in international development and anticorruption management.
  • Proven leadership and coordination skills.
  • Experience in the design, implementation, and supervision of development operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
  • Established reputation for integrity and sound judgment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with risk frameworks, financial management, or procurement in development activities.
  • Proficiency in one or more languages besides English.
