About the position

The Senior Internal Auditor at FNBO is responsible for planning and leading audits of assigned business units and affiliates. This role involves assessing risks, evaluating controls, and designing appropriate audit tests. The Senior Auditor will supervise audit staff and interns, providing coaching and feedback while ensuring audits are delivered on time and within budget. The position emphasizes a modern, flexible workplace, allowing for remote work and collaboration with various stakeholders to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead audits of assigned business units and affiliates.
• Assess risks and evaluate controls to design appropriate audit tests.
• Supervise audit staff and interns, providing coaching and feedback.
• Deliver audits on time and within budget, meeting strategic requirements.
• Analyze business functions and assist in setting audit scope and developing Audit Program Guides.
• Perform and document assigned audit procedures, delegating tasks to team members.
• Report audit results to management, identifying issues and providing resolutions.
• Aid in continuous risk assessment processes and update Audit Universe Assessments.
• Promote a productive team environment and maintain established standards of productivity.
• Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, and regulations.

Requirements

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• 3+ years of prior audit experience.
• Strong analytical skills and project management skills.
• Working knowledge of data analytics.
