About the position

Honeywell International Inc. is seeking a skilled professional to join the Corporate Strategic Business Group (CORP SBG) as a liaison between business and IT solutions. This role is pivotal in executing Honeywell's IT strategies to facilitate the effective deployment of new business systems aimed at improving overall business results. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining customer requirements for the deployment of new business applications, supporting process redesign, and providing training to users to ensure rapid adoption of these applications. The position requires a blend of technical and project management skills to deliver highly effective solutions that enhance the IT user experience. In this role, you will have end-to-end accountability in the SAP Order to Cash process, which includes Customer Order Management, Invoicing, Accounts Receivables, Pricing, Master Data Management, and Customer Delivery. You will collaborate closely with marketing and commercial excellence teams to ensure that customer orders are managed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong order management skills and the ability to adapt to complex processes and solutions. You will be expected to work cross-functionally to solve problems rapidly and independently, demonstrating a solution-oriented mindset by translating business requirements into best practice solutions. Key responsibilities include RICEF design and documentation, business requirements analysis, identifying and resolving process gaps, documenting new processes, supporting user adoption plans, assisting with test strategy and execution, and supporting super users. You will also assist leaders in managing change management initiatives to ensure a smooth transition to new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Honeywell IT strategies to facilitate effective deployment of new business systems to improve Honeywell business results.
  • Act as a liaison between the business and IT solutions to define customer requirements for deployment of new business applications.
  • Support process redesign and provide training to users to facilitate rapid adoption of applications.
  • Manage end-to-end accountability in SAP Order to Cash, including Customer Order Management, Invoicing, Accounts Receivables, Pricing, Master Data Management, and Customer Delivery.
  • Collaborate with marketing and commercial excellence teams to ensure effective order management.
  • Document business requirements and identify/resolve process gaps.
  • Support user adoption plans and assist with test strategy and execution.
  • Assist leaders in managing change management initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of overall SAP SD professional experience
  • 5+ years of consulting, IT, or comparable experience
  • 1+ SAP End to End implementation experience
  • Demonstrated experience in process design, software/solution configuration, functional specification development, testing and training
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

Nice-to-haves

  • S4 HANA and/or BRIM experience
  • Knowledge of SFDC, SAP CPQ
  • Experience applying rigorous waterfall and agile project management approaches
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to apply Lean/Six Sigma to ensure highly efficient processes
