About the position

The Sr IT Analyst position at Honeywell International, Inc. in Atlanta, GA, is a critical role responsible for the integration of the Salesforce platform with other systems. This position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless data flow and effective communication. The analyst will conduct daily reviews of user issues, providing first and second level support, and will be involved in ad-hoc fixing of issues as they arise. In addition to support responsibilities, the Sr IT Analyst will customize, develop, and optimize the Salesforce application by working closely with business owners, Salesforce architects, and members of the development team. A comprehensive project plan will be developed and maintained, which includes defining the scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution. The analyst will also identify and engage contractors or external development teams as needed to execute the Salesforce project, overseeing the vendor selection process and contract negotiations. As the point of contact and owner of the project, the Sr IT Analyst will be responsible for the overall success of the project, monitoring progress and adherence to project timelines and objectives. They will identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality, developing contingency plans as necessary. Ensuring that the delivered Salesforce solutions meet established quality standards and business requirements is paramount, which includes conducting thorough testing and validation of the solutions.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Three (3) years of IT experience, including experience with Customer Relationship Platform 'Salesforce.com'.
  • Developer skills including the full stack of Salesforce's developer options: APEX, Flows, and Visualforce.
  • Complete understanding and demonstrated skills related to Profiles and Roles, including options to restrict and grant visibility on different levels of the tools.
  • Experience with installation and modification of marketplace applications, Salesforce standard reports and dashboards, and CRM Analytics.
  • Experience with advanced quoting and billing tools.
