About the position

As a Senior IT Analyst at Honeywell International, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to partner with various business units and stakeholders to gather project requirements, ensuring that the solutions developed align with the strategic objectives of the organization. You will evaluate existing business processes, anticipate requirements, and identify areas for improvement, ultimately leading to the development and implementation of effective solutions. In this role, you will define initiatives based on business needs and create momentum to drive projects forward, all while managing the competing needs of multiple stakeholders. You will focus on both Honeywell business stakeholders and internal IT project needs, fostering an environment that ensures the successful delivery of program objectives. Your ability to initiate and facilitate team meetings will be crucial in resolving issues and supporting Super Users. You will also participate in and lead solution design discussions, conducting meetings and presentations to share your ideas and findings with cross-functional teams. Effective communication will be key, as you will need to convey insights and plans clearly to team members and management. Gathering critical information from stakeholder meetings and producing useful reports will be part of your daily tasks, as will supporting the implementation of key deliverables such as functional discovery and scoping documentation, as well as business test scenarios. Applying a rigorous agile project management approach, you will translate business requirements into effective technology solutions, ensuring clarity and directness in your communication to diverse, global teams. This position is based in Atlanta, GA, and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with the possibility of telecommuting up to two times per week. Additionally, there may be approximately 5% international and domestic travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and stakeholders to gather project requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into solutions.
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
  • Define the initiative per the business need and create momentum and support to drive forward, while managing the competing needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Focus on both Honeywell business stakeholders and internal IT project needs to create an environment and process that ensures the successful delivery of the program objectives.
  • Initiate and facilitate team meetings and issue resolution involving the right parties to resolve problems and support Super Users.
  • Participate and lead solution design solutions as appropriate.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.
  • Support the implementation of key deliverables as assigned such as functional discovery and scoping documentation, business test scenarios, and others.
  • Convey information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse, global teams.
  • Apply rigorous agile project management approach on assignments.
  • Translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Applications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Strong process knowledge in Service, Field Service, Sales, Supply Chain, e-commerce, and Projects.
  • Technology experience with at least one of the related systems: SAP ERP, SAP CPQ, or Data Modelling.
  • Experience in Data and System Integrations.
  • Experience in execution of Projects in a SAFe Agile Framework.
  • Strong experience in gathering, refining, and documenting requirements.
  • Experience in creating functional and technical specification documents and working with various IT and Business cross-functional teams.
  • Good knowledge of the Quote to Cash cycle.
  • Ability to create test scenarios and scripts and drive SIT & UAT.
  • Experience working on migration projects.
