About the position

The Sr. IT Functional Business Analyst SAP at KLA-Tencor Corporation is responsible for enhancing SAP systems to meet business requirements through effective collaboration with technical teams. This role involves leading requirements gathering sessions, performing system configuration, and conducting integration and user testing. The analyst will focus on improving business processes and reporting capabilities, particularly in SAP ECC/S4 and SAP CRM, while also working with other systems like OneStream and PriceFX.

Responsibilities

• Work with technical teams to improve SAP systems and meet business requirements.
• Lead and conduct requirements gathering sessions with end customers.
• Write functional requirement specifications in detail.
• Perform system configuration in SAP SD and SAP CRM for improvements and projects.
• Own and perform integration testing and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Document best known methods and provide necessary support.
• Coordinate multiple SAP results and related projects independently and in a team environment.
• Recommend new insights and efficiency opportunities around reporting.
• Prepare test plans, training documents, and conduct user acceptance testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience as a functional business analyst using SAP.
• Prior experience with SAP Reference Project Object (SPRO).
• Functional skills with SAP ECC and SAP CRM systems.
• Strong analytical and statistical experience.
• Strong BI Reporting experience: MS Excel VBA & Macro programming, MS PowerBI and Power Query.
• Superb communication skills among peers and senior management.
• Problem-solving skills and demonstrated accomplishments in complex situations.
• Strong presentation skills at the peer and senior leadership level.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications.
