About the position

The IT Sr. Functional Analyst for Beverage at Niagara is a pivotal role that focuses on bridging the gap between Beverage Program management and Beverage Operations teams. This position is essential for managing the pipeline of IT systems needs and ensuring alignment between business objectives and IT capabilities. The analyst will collaborate closely with various IT teams to address the Beverage business's IT systems requirements, providing guidance on potential technology-based solutions that can enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for understanding and documenting business requirements, determining the appropriate solution approach, and facilitating the delivery of solutions that support business needs. This includes analyzing existing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reductions, utilizing various enterprise tools. The ability to translate complex business needs into clear design documents and articulate desired functionalities to technical teams is crucial. The analyst will also be tasked with reviewing system design approaches to ensure they meet business requirements, troubleshooting systemic and operational issues to identify root causes, and determining both temporary and permanent solutions. Interaction with multiple departments, including Sales, Program Management, Customer Service, Logistics, Procurement, Planning, Production, Quality, and IT, is a key aspect of this role. The analyst will produce key documents in both written and presentation formats, and will work with stakeholders to identify system-based solutions for existing process gaps. Project management skills are essential, as the analyst will oversee projects throughout their lifecycle, including administration, planning, configuration, testing, training, implementation, support, and change management. The ability to write use cases, business rules, and other artifacts such as swim lane diagrams is necessary to effectively represent business processes and requirements. The analyst must be able to deliver professional presentations and manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Availability for 24/7 support may be required to address production system issues and project cutover activities.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Beverage Program management and Beverage Operations teams to manage IT systems needs.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to address the Beverage business's IT systems requirements.
  • Document business requirements and determine solution approaches.
  • Analyze processes to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reductions.
  • Translate complex business needs into design documents and articulate desired functionalities to technical teams.
  • Review system design approaches to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot systemic and operational issues to define root causes and determine solutions.
  • Interact with multiple departments including Sales, Program Management, Customer Service, Logistics, Procurement, Planning, Production, Quality, and IT.
  • Produce key documents in written and presentation formats.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify system-based solutions for process gaps.
  • Organize, schedule, and run meetings to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Manage projects throughout their lifecycle, including planning, configuration, testing, training, and implementation.
  • Write use cases, business rules, and other artifacts to represent business processes and requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years combined experience across Food/Beverage or CPG or Process Manufacturing Enterprise Applications.
  • Minimum of 6 years combined experience in functional roles partnering with Manufacturing business and/or IT.
  • Minimum of 6 years combined experience delivering solutions and managing projects of varied sizes.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Applications like Oracle and systems integrations.
  • Knowledge of Master Data, Supply and Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Order Management, and Warehouse Management processes.
  • Experience in roles such as Business Systems Analyst, Engineering, Process Optimization, Program Management, or IT Information Systems Analyst.

Nice-to-haves
