About the position

As an Enterprise IT Project/Program Manager at Mattel, you will oversee a portfolio of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality standards. This role involves collaboration with senior leadership, IT teams, and business stakeholders to define objectives, manage project execution, and facilitate change management processes. You will lead the implementation of Audit and Compliance capabilities, driving the successful delivery of IT solutions that align with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Lead the planning, scoping, execution, and reporting of regulatory compliance audits based on identified risks.
  • Understand and identify risks related to processes, regulatory compliance, and technology, and evaluate control design adequacy.
  • Prepare work papers that accurately document work performed and support conclusions.
  • Establish and implement a reporting framework for tracking audit and compliance metrics.
  • Facilitate collaboration between IT and business units to ensure projects meet business needs.
  • Oversee risk management and quality assurance processes, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.
  • Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on program status and milestones.
  • Champion change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of project/program management experience with a proven track record of successful IT program delivery.
  • 7+ years of related auditing/audit remediation experience.
  • Thorough understanding of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of program and project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Scrum).
  • Experience in change management and the ability to drive organizational transformation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
  • Experience in managing Financials / Project Budgets $3-10M+
