About the position

The Sr. IT Project Manager - Financial Integration is responsible for initiating and managing finance projects that require financial integrations in a dynamic environment. This role involves leveraging effective project management practices to collaborate with various divisions and cross-functional teams, ensuring cost-effective implementations that exceed stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Define project charter, scope, assess impact, determine implementation approach, schedule, budget, and resource needs with stakeholders.
  • Experience with Financial Project implementation and GxP validation process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit business and technical requirements, prioritize implementation aligning with IT strategies.
  • Utilize waterfall, iterative, and Agile methodologies, coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Use PM Framework tools like Planview, JIRA, and other collaboration tools for increased productivity.
  • Communicate effectively, adaptable to different time zones.
  • Build and execute project plans, facilitate gate reviews, and escalate issues to meet milestones.
  • Manage scope and change, identify risks and issues, prioritize needs, and follow through on projects to successful completion.
  • Provide regular status updates to Leadership and Management, driving improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of IT project management experience, with at least 3 years in Financial Integrations.
  • Minimum 5 years in Pharma/Medical devices.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, Information Technology, or 10 years of IT project experience.
  • PMP certification is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Financial Project implementations, feature enhancements, upgrades, release, and life cycle management.
  • Stakeholder Management and GxP Validation experience.
  • Strong presentation skills, delivering project status, risk mitigations, benefits, and financial realizations.
  • Self-motivated, independent critical thinker, guiding teams during conflicting situations.
  • Experience in PM Framework, estimation guidelines, resource management, gate reviews, quality audits, process improvements, and PPM tools.
  • Effective conflict management in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
