About the position

The Senior IT Project Manager at Virtua Health is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing complex IT projects across multiple departments. This role involves collaborating with operational leaders and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while adhering to established project management methodologies. The Senior IT Project Manager also provides guidance and mentoring to peers and project team members, optimizing project outcomes and improving project management practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan IT projects in collaboration with operational leaders and key stakeholders.
• Manage the implementation of IT projects from scope development to post-implementation.
• Document all phases of the project lifecycle to capture project artifacts.
• Manage project budgets, including tracking invoices and consultant time.
• Lead the vendor selection process and facilitate contract reviews.
• Develop and maintain standard project templates and methodologies.
• Monitor and improve project communication strategies.
• Establish and measure the effectiveness of standard reports and dashboards.
• Mentor new project managers and enhance the IT Project Manager Orientation program.
• Develop relationships with IT PMO customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• Experience leading medium to large, complex IT projects
• Experience with requirements analysis and testing methodology
• Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Epic, ServiceNow, and Project Management tools

• LEAN-Six Sigma, CAPM, or PMP certification
