Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Project Manager to lead and manage multiple technology projects within the carrier transportation space. This unique role requires a blend of traditional project management expertise with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects while fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment. The position is contract to hire, with an initial duration of 6 months, and is primarily remote, although local candidates in the Kansas City area are preferred due to occasional in-office collaboration. The projects involve approximately 13 different workstreams, including web pages, Salesforce, TMS (Transportation Management System), and EDI/API, covering every lane of IT projects. The client is primarily running a Waterfall methodology but is in the process of transforming into Agile/Scrum, utilizing a hybrid approach. The Project Manager will develop and manage project plans using both methodologies, ensuring that the approach is tailored to meet the specific needs of each project. Essential duties include leading cross-functional teams, facilitating Scrum events, managing project backlogs, budgets, and risks, and tracking project progress while reporting to key stakeholders. The role also involves fostering a positive team environment, coaching team members, and staying current on industry trends and best practices in project management and transportation.
