About the position

The Senior IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT-related projects within a health services organization in New York City. This hybrid role requires the manager to work onsite at least two days a week in Midtown Manhattan, ensuring that project timelines are met and that all aspects of the projects are effectively managed.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of a project, establishing timelines, and ensuring project deadlines are met
• Managing multiple initiatives and partnering with multiple project teams
• Working with stakeholders to define and agree on project scope and requirements
• Managing the execution of work, including tracking team progress, routing deliverables for review and approval, and monitoring scope
• Actively monitoring project risks/issues, escalating in a timely manner, and driving teams to effective solutions
• Proactively identifying recommendations to make the solution better
• Performing other duties, as needed

Requirements

• 12+ years of Project Management experience
• Working knowledge of Epic
• Extensive Technical background in all IT areas, including Network Infrastructure (and Security), Server Technology, Desktop Technology, & Healthcare experience
• Solid understanding of Project Management methodology, including the ability to identify & resolve issues, manage risk, and develop detailed work plans
• Excellent leadership skills
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
