About the position

The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the consolidation project to replace the Endur Gas Management System application. This role involves managing project budgets, resources, and timelines while ensuring deliverables are met. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills to facilitate meetings and produce necessary documentation for project tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Track project budgets and accruals closely.
• Monitor resources and forecast risks associated with the project.
• Identify causes for variances in project timelines and budgets.
• Partner with domain teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
• Run meetings and produce meeting notes and action items for team standups and sponsor meetings.
• Manage all IT project reporting including monthly budget forecasting and weekly reports.
• Create issues and risks dashboards and track decisions made during the project.

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT program or project management experience.
• Experience managing IT software solution installations and upgrades with budgets of $5M or more.
• Proven experience running application implementation projects to support business objectives.
• Background in managing IT scope, schedule, budget, and communication effectively.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience in budget creation, management, accrual, and forecasting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong leadership abilities.
• Prior experience in the utility energy sector (electric & gas) or large construction/engineering/telecom is a plus.
• PMP certification is a plus.
