About The Position
The Java AWS Developer position is a critical role that requires a strong background in software development, particularly in Java and AWS technologies. The successful candidate will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from inception through implementation, utilizing Agile methodologies. This role is based in Plano, TX, Wilmington, DE, and New York, and is open only to local candidates from these areas. The position is expected to last for a duration of 6+ months, and candidates must possess a solid understanding of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS. In this role, the developer will be responsible for designing and building complex application systems using modern banking architecture. This includes working with Java/J2EE/Spring technologies and developing web applications, business services, and batch applications. The candidate will also be expected to utilize web services and Java RMI technologies to enhance integration capabilities between front-end and back-end systems. A strong emphasis will be placed on collaboration within teams to achieve common goals and develop meaningful relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience with various software development tools and methodologies, including Object Oriented Analysis and Design, and will be proficient in using SCM tools such as GIT and Jenkins. Knowledge of relational databases like Oracle and SQL Server, as well as web service technologies including SOAP and REST, is also essential. The role requires a fundamental understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the ability to perform tasks such as design, analysis, development, coding, unit testing, debugging, and documentation for Java/J2EE systems.
