About the position

The Sr. Java Backend Developer is responsible for driving end-to-end development of Java applications, focusing on web services and microservices. This role requires strong expertise in Java development, performance code reviews, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support operational issues. The developer will also be involved in creating efficient libraries and interfaces for new technology stacks.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end development of Java applications.
• Conduct performance code reviews.
• Build test strategies for applications.

• Create common libraries and interfaces for new tools.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java (J2EE).
• Expertise in web services (microservices) and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Oracle DB and cloud-native technologies (preferably AWS or Azure).
• Expert in modern software design principles such as SOLID, DRY, and Single Responsibility.
• Experience with technology stack including PCF, NiFi, NATS, Kafka, Zookeeper, Splunk, Redis, and Cassandra.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries.
