About the position

The Senior Full-Stack Java Developer role involves developing both frontend and backend applications, ensuring adherence to best practices in software development, and participating in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). The position requires strong coding skills in Java and JavaScript, with a focus on microservices architecture and cloud services. The developer will also engage in technical analysis, design, and requirements gathering to deliver scalable and responsive applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive and be a reference to develop frontend and backend applications.
• Know best practices around software development, SDLC, unit testing, performance tuning, both on code and database level.
• Experience using CI and CD pipelines.
• Conduct technical analysis to analyze systems, problems, and programs, formulating solutions.
• Ensure that all work undertaken is of sound design and fits in with the existing architecture.
• Participate in requirements gathering and reviews, assess technical feasibility, assist in defining solutions, and prepare development artifacts where required.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in developing microservice applications using SpringBoot, Java, and J2EE frameworks.
• Strong experience in JavaScript, Angular, React, and CSS frameworks.
• Experience in building highly scalable and responsive applications.
• Strong knowledge in creating reusable APIs, REST, and Web Services.
• Experience with Cloud services, including Spring Cloud and Amazon Web Services.
• Strong exposure to working in Agile and Scaled Agile based development environments.
• Strong experience in MongoDB, Amazon DB, and Oracle database.
• Working knowledge in Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with Test Driven Development.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Stencil JS (preferred).
