About the position
The Senior Java Full Stack Developer at Inspira Financial will be responsible for producing scalable software solutions as part of a cross-functional team. This role involves leading the software development life cycle from conception to deployment, ensuring a user-centered design approach while utilizing agile methodologies. The developer will work collaboratively to design and implement efficient software products that meet business needs and maintain high standards of security, performance, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
- Design efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs
- Work in a paired programming collaborative environment, contributing to agile ceremonies
- Lead the design of efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs
- Develop frontend and backend code utilizing test-driven development
- Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions
- Keep job knowledge up to date by studying new development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Create diagrams and technical documentation
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics or related field
- 5 - 7 years' experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Proficiency with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST Web Services, data exchange (JSON, XML)
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, DynamoDB
- Experience with automation testing (Junit, Cucumber)
- Familiarity with JBoss 6.1, WildFly, Hibernate, ActiveMQ, Rest /Soap, Apache Click, Open Office, Eclipse, Microsoft SQL Server 2016, Jenkins, Selenium, Maven/Ant, Java 1.8
- Experience with Git/BitBucket/Jenkins/Pipeline, AWS, GitLabs, JUnit, Selenium, JIRA/Confluence, Splunk
- Experience in Java application development and support
- Experience developing new web applications and utilizing modern web technologies such as Spring, REST, React, JavaScript/jQuery, micro services
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, SecDevOps, and Containers
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Great attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience delivering individual and institutional client facing solutions; Web Portal(s), online payments, and third-party integrations
- Experience with developing financial platforms Portfolio Management, or Trading platforms
- Experience delivering secure, high performance, fault tolerant, and high availability solutions
