Infosys is seeking a Senior Java Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts and delivering high-quality code deliverables for a module. Additionally, you will lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the software development process is efficient and effective. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates to offshore teams. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying root causes of issues and coming up with solutions or alternatives. You will also participate in project review meetings with clients, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. You should be able to communicate effectively by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements, and you must be located within driving distance of Raleigh, NC or Richardson, TX, or be willing to relocate to these locations.
