As a Senior Java Developer at Diverse Lynx LLC, you will play a crucial role in an Agile team dedicated to enhancing and developing applications within the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) domain. This position requires a deep understanding of Java technologies, particularly Java 11, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud, as well as experience with React JS and Microservices. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, developing new functionalities, and enhancing existing application features. Your role will also involve performing unit and integration testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the software solutions you develop. In this position, you will engage in requirement gathering sessions to fully understand the business needs and translate them into technical specifications. You will evaluate business requirements to identify necessary modifications or new processes that need to be developed. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed design and architecture reports for management and executive teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of the project’s progress and technical decisions. You will also oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions, ensuring that the transition is smooth and that data integrity is maintained. Regular monitoring of system performance through testing and troubleshooting will be part of your duties, as will the integration of new features into existing systems. Participation in production migration activities will be essential, as will your ability to recommend solutions for improving both new and existing applications. Additionally, you will provide training and support to staff members, helping them to understand the systems and processes you develop. Your expertise in the Banking and Financials domain, particularly in Fund Accounting, will be invaluable in this role, as you will be expected to leverage this knowledge to enhance the applications you work on.
