About the position

The Sr. Java Developer position is a long-term contract role focused on developing and maintaining Java-based web services. The role requires extensive experience in Java/J2EE development, as well as proficiency in various frameworks and technologies. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of development experience with Java/J2EE
• 3+ years of experience in developing Java-based web services utilizing J2EE and various frameworks, including Hibernate and Spring
• 3+ years of experience in Jquery/Javascript framework, Webservice: SOAP/REST, Spring framework
• At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects
• Solid understanding of caching as well as software configuration management concepts and methodologies
• Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written communication
• Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment
• Excellent analytical abilities
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is highly preferred

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with search engine platforms/SEO and algorithms is highly preferred
