Infosys is seeking a Sr. Java Full Stack Developer. This position will work with key collaborators and technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design. The role plays a meaningful part in creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code results for a module, leading validation for all types of testing, and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. The Sr. Java Full Stack Developer will develop and maintain Java-based web applications using Java 11 and Spring Boot, as well as develop APIs. The candidate should have experience in all phases of the SDLC, starting from requirement gathering, designing functional documents to implementation, delivery, test planning, execution, and production support. Knowledge of Agile Methodology (scrum process) and understanding of all key scrum ceremonies like story grooming is essential. The developer will also be responsible for developing components using React/Angular 8 needed for the application from scratch and customizing them as necessary. The role requires ensuring that dedication and release goals are met, understanding program/project objectives, and meeting the release goals. Metrics must be met as per agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) for the team. The candidate will own the team on technical guidance and mentoring as needed, coordinate with offshore teams, client teams, and take end-to-end responsibility for project delivery. Customer management, weekly reports/governance, and cadence with IT Project Managers (ITPMs) and Architects will also be part of the responsibilities.
