About the position
The Senior Java Fullstack Developer position is a long-term contract role based in San Francisco, CA, requiring a highly skilled individual to join a dynamic team. The role focuses on full-stack application design and development using Java and Go technologies, with an emphasis on microservices architecture and test automation.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack applications using Java and Go technologies.
- Implement microservices architecture and integrate with various components.
- Write and maintain test automation scripts using Karate and Cypress.
- Improve CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions and analyze DORA metrics.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance application performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Full-stack expertise in application design and development with Java/Go technologies.
- Knowledge of Spring, JPA/Hibernate, Message Queues, and Workflow Engines.
- 5+ years of experience in writing Test Automation scripts using Karate and Cypress.
- Strong programming foundation with knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns.
Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, React, Angular, and HTML5/CSS3.
- 3+ years of experience with database technologies (NoSQL, SQL, and Time-series Databases).
