About the position

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Java Fullstack Developer with React to join our engineering team in Parsippany, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable backend systems while collaborating closely with front-end developers and stakeholders to deliver secure and innovative solutions. This role requires a strong focus on both backend and frontend development, particularly in Java and React, and is intended for local candidates to facilitate close collaboration with the team.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code to build the server-side logic of our applications.
• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices that power our applications.
• Optimize database designs for performance, scalability, and data integrity using SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Implement robust security protocols, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Ensure applications are optimized for speed and scalability.
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure a smooth deployment process, while also maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and team discussions to ensure high-quality output.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java 8+ and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with microservices and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient with Git and familiar with Agile development tools like JIRA.
• Experience with automated testing using JUnit, Mockito, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deploying services in a cloud environment.
• Using React, HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies, create user interfaces that are both beautiful and functional.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and product managers to bring mockups and wireframes to life.
• Identify and resolve UI-related bugs and performance issues to ensure smooth user interactions.
• Continuously improve skills by staying informed about the latest front-end trends, techniques, and best practices.
