About the position

The Sr JAVA Fullstack Developer role is a hybrid position based in Charlotte, NC, requiring two days onsite and three days offsite. This position is designed for experienced candidates who will be responsible for building enterprise applications using a variety of backend and UI technologies, with a strong emphasis on AWS services and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and understand requirements, design, and documentation.
• Contribute to the design and development of applications and unit testing.
• Work independently on assigned tasks.
• Ensure all development adheres to agreed coding/design standards and meets code coverage requirements.
• Support alignment on vision and roadmap with Business, IT, and Product Management.
• Coordinate and collaborate with Technical SMEs and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in building enterprise applications using Java, Spring frameworks, and Node JS.
• Proficient in UI Technologies, specifically Angular 2+.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, EC2, and AWS RDS.
• Strong SQL skills across different types of databases, both relational and non-relational.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using AWS CDK or CloudFormation with TypeScript or Python.
• Experience with source code management best practices and tools like Jira.
• Strong foundation in CI/CD pipelines and automation using GitHub, Jenkins, or ADO.
• Experience in release management processes including automated testing and static code analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Python.
• AWS Certifications.
