Sr. Lab Technician Operations

About the position

The Senior Lab Technician position at Roche focuses on oligonucleotide purification within the Oligonucleotide Manufacturing Group. This role is designed for motivated individuals with a scientific or technical background, emphasizing the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare. The technician will engage in various manufacturing procedures, including High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), while ensuring compliance with cGMP standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform oligonucleotide purification and characterization following production batch records and SOPs.
• Become proficient with complex and technical equipment and processes.
• Organize work effectively to ensure efficient utilization of time and materials.
• Complete all procedures in a cGMP compliant manner.
• Respond quickly and effectively to multiple and changing priorities.
• Accurately record methods, materials, and results in batch records according to established formats.
• Keep supervisor informed on the status of all projects and significant findings.
• Participate in or lead various Group projects, activities, and initiatives.

Requirements

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred (science degree required, chemistry-related preferred).
• 0-4 years of industry experience.
• Basic proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
