About the position
The Sr Lead, DevSecOps Business Security Officer at Northern Trust is responsible for overseeing application security within the Wealth Management or Asset Servicing business units. This role involves ensuring that business partners understand and meet their security responsibilities, providing feedback to improve the Information Security Program, and holding partners accountable for security requirements. The position requires strong knowledge of application security best practices and the ability to build trust with business and technology partners.
Responsibilities
- Align with Wealth Management or Asset Servicing business units to promote application security.
- Ensure business partners understand their security responsibilities and are positioned to meet them.
- Provide direct feedback to the Information Security Program regarding opportunities for improvement.
- Hold business partners accountable for meeting security requirements related to vulnerabilities and configurations.
- Establish trust with business and technology partners and work independently.
- Prioritize and set agenda based on current security facts.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of application security best practices including SAST, DAST, MFA, Penetration Testing, and OWASP vulnerabilities.
- Experience in mid to large size companies with mature cyber/risk management departments.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship management skills.
- Experience developing code in environments with mature enterprise pipelines.
