About the position

The Sr. Lead Power BI & Analytics Developer is responsible for building and maintaining BI applications and schema objects. This role leads the development of methodologies and tools for analyzing data trends and insights, creating user profiles, and establishing design standards. The developer will design and develop reporting solutions, prepare test plans, support reporting environments, and continuously research BI technologies to enhance applications and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain BI applications and schema objects.
• Lead the development of methodologies, tools, and practices for data analysis.
• Design and develop reporting solutions using the Bank's Data Warehouse and BI environments.
• Prepare test plans and test cases for functional and data testing.
• Create and maintain system and user documentation related to Data Marts and Reporting.
• Support and monitor reporting environments and analytics solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance data analytics.
• Conduct continuous research in the BI technology field to enhance applications.
• Create technical and functional specification documents.
• Develop, test, and implement interactive web and mobile dashboards, ad hoc queries, and reports.
• Maintain confidential and sensitive datasets according to security policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline; Master's degree is a plus.
• 8+ years' experience as an MS BI developer.
• 5+ years' experience in data warehouse and schema design architecture.
• 3+ years developing dashboards in Power BI.
• Proficiency in web and mobile dashboard development.
• Proficiency in report/cube construction.
• Proficiency in security architecture.
• Proficiency in multiple connectors for BI applications for data federation.
• Ability to migrate between environments.
• Proficiency in administration activities such as setup, upgrades, and cache cleanup.
• Ability to identify and manage impact on BI applications.
• Well-developed practice of Agile/SCRUM development process.
• Proficiency in SQL and query engine of BI applications.
• Knowledge of BI application architecture.
