About the position

The Sr. Lead Power BI & Analytics Developer is responsible for building and maintaining BI applications and schema objects. This role leads the development of methodologies and tools for analyzing data related to design trends and consumer markets, aiming to enhance user profiles and design standards. The developer will design and develop reporting solutions using the Bank's Data Warehouse and BI environments, prepare test plans, and ensure the functionality of analytics solutions while continuously researching new BI technologies to improve user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain BI applications and schema objects.
• Lead the development of methodologies, tools, and practices for data analysis.
• Design and develop reporting solutions using the Bank's Data Warehouse and BI environments.
• Prepare test plans and test cases for functional and data testing.
• Create and maintain system and user documentation related to Data Marts and Reporting.
• Support and monitor reporting environments and analytics solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance data analytics.
• Conduct continuous research in the BI technology field to enhance applications.
• Create technical and functional specification documents.
• Develop, test, and implement interactive web and mobile dashboards, ad hoc queries, and reports.
• Maintain confidential and sensitive datasets according to security policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline.
• Master's degree in computer science or related discipline is a plus.
• 8+ years' experience as an MS BI developer.
• 5+ years' experience in data warehouse and schema design architecture.
• 3+ years developing dashboards in Power BI.
• Proficiency in web and mobile dashboard development.
• Proficiency in report/cube construction and security architecture.
• Proficiency in multiple connectors for BI applications for data federation.
• Ability to migrate between environments and manage impact on BI applications.
• Proficiency in SQL and query engine of BI applications.
• Knowledge of BI application architecture (web, mobile, office, schedulers, load balancers, i-servers).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with Agile/SCRUM development process.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
