About the position

As a Senior Legal Counsel in the Global Supply Chain team at Apple, you will play a pivotal role in providing legal support for the company's innovative products and services. This position is situated within the Products & Regulatory Legal Group, where you will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and marketing teams to navigate the complexities of product assembly, technology development, and supplier relationships. Your expertise will be essential in drafting, negotiating, and advising on a wide array of technology agreements, including those related to intellectual property and manufacturing. You will be tasked with strategizing on risk allocation and mitigation, ensuring that Apple's high ethical and corporate standards are upheld while supporting the company's ambitious goals in technology and product development. In this role, you will join a diverse team of attorneys who are dedicated to tackling unprecedented legal challenges. Your responsibilities will include advising Apple management on business strategies and policies, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that all legal aspects of product development are thoroughly addressed. The position requires a deep understanding of the legal landscape as it pertains to technology and supply chain operations, and you will be expected to apply your knowledge creatively to support Apple's mission of delivering cutting-edge technologies to the market. Responsibilities

• Provide legal support for product assembly, technology development, sourcing strategy, and supplier relationships.
• Draft, negotiate, and advise on complex product assembly, equipment, manufacturing, and other commercial agreements.
• Advise Apple management on risk allocation and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business and engineering teams to strategize on legal matters.
• Build relationships with executive management and cross-functional partners to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of transactional experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on technology agreements, including agreements related to intellectual property, manufacturing, and supply.
• JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.

• Knowledge of Apple business is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and build relationships with executive management, teammates, and cross-functional partners.
