About the position

The Consumer Direct Loan Agent position involves receiving inbound calls from qualified home shoppers seeking to secure loans for their next purchase. The role emphasizes building customer relationships, analyzing financial situations, and providing tailored loan solutions. Agents will utilize modern tools and systems to facilitate quick and efficient loan processing, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport and leverage customer relationships with existing and potential borrowers to meet their needs.
• Analyze customers' financial situations and advise on appropriate loan products.
• Excel in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and following up with multiple customers and files daily.
• Accept multiple live, qualified inbound leads each day.
• Lock loans at point of sale, request initial documents from customers, and submit a paperless loan package to production staff.
• Accurately structure and price loans.

Requirements

• 2+ years of full-time loan origination experience, preferably in a call center environment.
• Strong desire to succeed in a sales environment and be a top producer.
• Ability to accurately structure and price loans.
• Complete knowledge of conventional and government loan programs (purchase and refinance).
• Current AZ DBO and NMLS license.
• Four or more additional state NMLS licenses preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two or more recent years' full-time loan origination experience, preferably in a call center environment
• Minimum of four approved state licenses through the NMLS.
