TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy. The Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC) team plays a crucial role in protecting TikTok users, including content consumers, creators, and advertisers, while ensuring the platform's health and authenticity of community experiences. This team is responsible for building infrastructures and technologies to minimize the impact of inauthentic behaviors across TikTok's platforms, including TikTok, CapCut, Resso, and Lark. The BRIC team addresses various community and business risk areas such as account integrity, engagement authenticity, anti-spam measures, API abuse, growth fraud, live streaming security, and financial safety related to ads and e-commerce. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to engage with the company's strategic security initiatives, particularly in developing scalable, robust, intelligent, and privacy-safe systems and solutions. The challenges faced by the BRIC team are not typical technical puzzles; instead, you will be part of a team that creates innovative solutions to unprecedented challenges within a rapidly evolving product ecosystem. The work environment is dynamic, requiring quick, transferable solutions that make a significant impact on the platform and its users. As a member of the BRIC team, you will be tasked with building machine learning solutions to address and mitigate business risks associated with TikTok products and platforms. This includes tackling issues such as abusive accounts, fake engagements, spammy redirection, scraping, and fraud. You will also work on improving modeling infrastructures, labels, features, and algorithms to enhance robustness, automation, and generalization, thereby reducing the operational load on risk adversaries and facilitating the ramp-up of new products and risks. Additionally, you will be expected to elevate the standards of risk machine learning excellence, focusing on privacy and compliance, interpretability, and risk perception and analysis.
