About the position

The Sr. Magento Engineer plays a crucial role in a high-growth restaurant franchising organization, focusing on technical leadership and collaboration within the technology team. This position involves hands-on development and maintenance of Magento-based e-commerce solutions, ensuring optimal performance and integration with various systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Magento-based e-commerce solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and project prioritization within the technology team.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance web/app technology.
• Implement performance optimization techniques and caching strategies.
• Conduct volume testing and ensure quality assurance of developed solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Senior Magento Developer.
• In-depth knowledge of Magento architecture, customizations, and best practices.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related field.
• Strong quality assurance experience including volume testing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Solid understanding of data integration tools and processes.
• Knowledge of relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and data security best practices.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Bit Bucket).
• Strong technical leadership skills.
