About The Position

The Sr. Maintenance Technician in Facilities at Roche is responsible for coordinating and assisting with the repair and maintenance of building equipment and systems in a highly regulated cGMP manufacturing facility. This role involves troubleshooting HVAC systems, water pumps, and air compressors, as well as documenting maintenance activities and completing work orders using SAP or mobile CMMS. The technician will also address plumbing issues and assist in the inspection and repair of chemical process equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3-4 years experience in industrial facility maintenance or equivalent, including troubleshooting industrial mechanical and electrical systems in a GMP, clean room environment.
• Valid driver's license to drive a company vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• 6 years work-related experience preferred.
• Ability to enter confined spaces and perform Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures.
• Flexibility to work on weekends for quarterly shut-downs or emergency repairs.
• Ability to go off-site once or twice a year for training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with the repair and maintenance of building equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC building systems, water pumps, and air compressors.
• Document maintenance activities using SAP or mobile CMMS.
• Complete corrective and preventative tasks per SAP and maintain training requirements on time.
• Read operator manuals, blueprints, and technical schematics.
• Correct building plumbing issues with fixtures and drainage piping systems.
• Assist in the inspection, testing, repairing, and removal of chemical process equipment.
