About the position

The Sr. Manager, Account Program Management & Operations at Medtronic is responsible for leading a team of account program managers and project coordinators within the Enterprise Accounts & Services team. This role focuses on executing strategies that support sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and enhancing organizational support functions to meet market share targets. The position requires collaboration across various departments and involves managing multiple work-stream teams to achieve program objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a team of 8-12 individual contributors, senior account program managers, and project coordinators.
  • Acts as a strategy execution partner for Directors of Enterprise Accounts and Service Line Advisory Directors.
  • Plans, initiates, monitors, tracks, and prioritizes sales and marketing support projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Sets clear direction and management that aligns with defined practices and policies to meet established sales or market share targets.
  • Interacts closely with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Global Regions, to ensure adequate support for sales and marketing functions.
  • Directs daily activities for multiple work-stream teams, managing project plans, resourcing, status reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Prepares internal and external communications and documentation.
  • Responsible for project performance, risk management, administration, financial management, budgeting, and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree or equivalent and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and facilitate strong, productive working relationships with various cross-functional and customer contacts.
  • High flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing business environment.
