About the position

The Sr. Manager, AI Product Owner will join the AI Product Management team within the Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI) organization at Comcast. This role is crucial in driving the development and success of AI-powered products specifically in the growth and marketing domains. The successful candidate will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to market launch, ensuring that AI solutions align with business needs, achieve objectives, and maintain a competitive edge. This position requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, strong business acumen, and exceptional leadership skills. In the opportunity assessment phase, the candidate will provide insights into the competitive environment, leveraging market findings, performance data, and global industry trends to develop a long-range platform vision and strategy aimed at achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). The role also involves defining and discovering new experience and platform opportunities that support specific market KPIs while establishing a long-term vision and strategy for experiences and platforms to cater to multi-tenant needs. The candidate will represent user insights on existing platforms, translating business requirements into experience and platform requirements to support Minimum Lovable Products (MLP). They will facilitate decision-making processes regarding build vs. buy strategies and ensure that all requirements reflect commitments to privacy, security, diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), accessibility, sustainability, reliability, and ethical design. As part of the product launch process, the Sr. Manager will conduct final trials, facilitate technology and employee trials, and support Market Product Managers in implementing release management plans. Continuous refinement of experiences and platforms will be a key responsibility, ensuring that the product evolves based on user data and feedback. The role demands excellent stakeholder management skills, the ability to prioritize business needs, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and success of AI-powered products in growth and marketing domains.
  • Guide the entire product lifecycle from ideation to market launch.
  • Provide insights into the competitive environment and develop long-range platform vision and strategy to achieve KPIs.
  • Identify new experience and platform opportunities to support specific Market KPIs.
  • Establish long-term vision, strategy, and KPIs for Experiences and Platforms.
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog for development by product engineering teams.
  • Represent user insights on existing platforms and surface options to solve consumer pain points.
  • Extrapolate business requirements into experience and platform requirements to support Minimum Lovable Products (MLP).
  • Facilitate build vs. buy decision-making to support core experience and platform strategy.
  • Create Minimum Lovable Products (MLP) and develop working prototypes for Markets.
  • Refine prototypes, UI, and UX designs based on MLP requirements and intended use case and KPIs.
  • Leverage tech stack to integrate code into existing platforms to deliver against final design.
  • Facilitate usability and experience testing of the product in support of Market KPIs.
  • Conduct final trials and bug fixes before product launch.
  • Accountable for continuous experience and platform refinement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager with a strong background in AI and machine learning products.
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for data-driven decision making.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of ethical AI principles and compliance considerations is a plus.
  • Proven record of successful product launches and product management.
  • Some proficiency with SQL is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in marketing or telecommunications industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience with marketing, personalization, and campaign technologies ideally in a telecommunications space.
  • 7+ years of experience with business analysis, capturing business requirements, and the software delivery lifecycle.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with user experience (UX) design principles.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services.
