About the position
The Sr. Manager AI Strategy at Flex is responsible for leading cross-organizational strategic projects that drive growth, profitability, and innovation within the company. This role involves collaborating with senior executives and business leaders to develop and update the corporate AI strategy, managing high-impact projects, and ensuring successful implementation of strategic initiatives. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to effectively influence and guide teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a collaborator and trusted advisor to senior executives on cross-organizational strategies.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and recommendations to the C-Suite and CEO.
- Lead a portfolio of high-profile projects, including the CEO's top focus areas.
- Apply creative problem-solving skills to develop strategies and communicate insights.
- Drive the transformation or integration of initiatives impacting the company's long-term direction.
- Collaborate with strategy associates and managers, contributing to their coaching and development.
- Establish functional strategic plans and objectives with clear metrics for success.
- Manage short- and long-term deliverables for self and team.
- Conduct high-quality business, market, and technology analysis for growth recommendations.
- Frame complex decisions and identify risks that could impact execution.
- Partner with corporate development to identify and evaluate potential candidates for inorganic strategy.
- Lead and manage strategic AI implementations across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years' experience or master's degree and 6+ years' experience in business or corporate strategy, management consulting, or equivalent.
- 2+ years' experience in a business or corporate strategy team.
- Advanced operations, processes, and people skills with solid financial acumen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leaders.
- Detailed expertise in complex functional/technical areas or broad knowledge in multiple areas.
- Direct people management experience and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- 100% onsite availability if living within 50 miles from the work site.
