About the position

As a Senior Manager of Application Development at CVS Health, you will oversee the development and maintenance of applications, focusing on Broker Commissions applications. This role involves designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, deploying, and supporting solutions that contribute to the organization's success. You will lead projects, collaborate with various teams, and ensure the implementation of agile development best practices to create scalable and high-performance Java code.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of existing and new applications.
• Assist in day-to-day production support activities.
• Design, code, test, debug, document, deploy, and support solutions.
• Lead projects with limited risks and resources.
• Act as a liaison between project managers, architects, development team members, and analysts.
• Build and maintain enterprise-level software solutions.
• Provide technical support in new project initiatives and system testing.
• Assist in functionality documentation and quality assurance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in developing applications using Java, SoapUI, SQL.
• 7+ years of experience with system integration, data migration, and production stability.
• 7+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps.
• 5+ years of experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or DB2 database development.

Nice-to-haves

• Insurance Industry knowledge
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, HTML, CSS, Datastage, Informatica, and Web API.
• Experience in agile/scrum methodology.
• Experience in leading a technical team.
