As a critical member of the Athleta Brand Marketing team, the Senior Manager of Brand Marketing will lead, in partnership with the Director of Brand Marketing, the omni-channel seasonal marketing strategy, planning, and implementation. This role is essential in ensuring that significant brand and product ideas are powerfully brought to life across all major brand touchpoints. The Senior Manager will also drive the marketing strategy for the Athleta Girl category, which is a vital high-growth segment of the business. The primary mandate of this position is to enhance brand awareness, acquire new customers, drive traffic and conversion, and deepen the emotional connection that consumers experience with both Athleta Girl and the Athleta brand as a whole. In this role, the Senior Manager will develop seasonal campaign briefs and collaborate with the creative team to produce seasonal marketing creative that aligns with brand messaging objectives and delivers impactful results. They will lead all seasonal product marketing and messaging to ensure that marketing strategies effectively contribute to business outcomes. Collaboration with Brand Marketing partners on the Women’s business will be crucial to develop seasonal brand, product, and cultural integration points between the Women’s and Girls’ business. The Senior Manager will also conduct seasonal omni-channel hindsight and competitive analyses to inform marketing strategies. They will partner with cross-functional team members to continuously test, measure the effectiveness (ROI) of, and optimize brand marketing and campaign initiatives. Additionally, they will work closely with the customer insights team to inform seasonal marketing strategies and act as the senior marketing representative at all relevant Athleta Girl pipeline milestone meetings. Presenting seasonal marketing strategies and plans to the CMO, cross-functional partners, and senior leadership team will be a key responsibility to garner buy-in and obtain necessary approvals. Furthermore, the Senior Manager will support the Director of Brand Marketing in leading brand marketing strategy for key strategic growth initiatives to drive business results, growth, and relevancy.
