We are currently seeking a Sr. Manager of Business Operations to join our New Distribution Capability (NDC) Product and Operations team at Egencia. This role is pivotal in managing the entire lifecycle of Air NDC transactions, focusing on delivering exceptional value to travelers, travel arrangers, and travel consultants. As the Sr. Manager of Business Operations, you will lead a team of business analysts dedicated to expanding Egencia's NDC connectivity capabilities. Your responsibilities will include driving the execution and delivery of world-class products by collaborating with cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, and Operations. You will also partner with Egencia Technical Services to resolve issues and minimize bugs across air development teams, ensuring a seamless experience for our users. Your strategic mindset will be essential in envisioning business objectives and opportunities, coordinating initiatives that enhance the traveler experience. You will leverage data and sound judgment to craft our strategy and define clear roadmaps, acting as a catalyst for change within the organization. Building constructive working relationships and making transparent decisions with diverse teams will be key to your success in this role. Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functional with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to drive execution and delivery of world-class products.
  • Lead a team of business analysts investigating new connectivity and supply operations challenges.
  • Partner with Egencia Technical Services on issue resolution and lead the team functioning as a tier 2, 3 escalation point with a goal of minimizing issues/bugs across air development teams.
  • Envision business objectives, opportunities, and coordinate initiatives with a focus on improved traveler experience.
  • Develop and evangelize an understanding of our business traveler pain points and aspirations.
  • Use data and judgment to craft our strategy and define clear roadmaps.
  • Act as a catalyst of change that can influence the broader organization and community of Egencia leaders.
  • Build relationships and make transparent decisions with diverse teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business operations management, preferably in the travel or technology sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of analysts or similar roles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Strategic mindset with proficiency in developing and executing business models and strategies.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and influence stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with New Distribution Capability (NDC) in the travel industry.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role or understanding of traveler needs.
