About the position

The Senior Manager of Business Operations and Reporting at PayPal will oversee the implementation and management of the department's OKR (Objectives and Key Results) framework, ensuring alignment, tracking progress, and facilitating continuous improvement within the team. This role is crucial for driving success in the North American Small and Medium Business (SMB) market by developing departmental operating rhythms and managing performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage departmental operating cadences
• Manage the setup and execution of department-wide OKRs
• Track progress against established OKRs and report on performance metrics
• Facilitate regular cadences for progress reviews, addressing any blockers that arise
• Manage the process cascading and reporting OKR progress at executive levels
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement tactics to enhance OKR progress
• Adjust OKRs as necessary based on team feedback and changing priorities
• Provide training and support to staff on the OKR framework and best practices
• Foster a culture of transparency and accountability within the department

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
• 7 - 10 years experience in consulting, business operations, or project/program management
• Proven experience in managing OKR frameworks or similar goal-setting methodologies
• Strong analytical skills and experience with performance tracking
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and facilitate productive discussions
• Proficiency in project management tools and software
