As a TCC Communications & Media Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with the team responsible for providing communication and media support to high-profile department, client, and organizational areas. This is a hybrid role based out of either Phoenix, Dallas or Chicago.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities, establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff.
  • Drive the development and delivery of communications, including content and media strategies, media plans, and programming in support of the business.
  • Act as a media contact and build long-term relationships with influencers, coordinating with media channels and managing the budget.
  • Review and approve all internal and external communication plans, including content and media strategies, conducting interviews and surveys, and brainstorming sessions.
  • Manage social media profiles and presence, staying up to date on current media marketplace and trends, and developing social media training.
  • Partner with key collaborators and executive management on short and long-term projects, creating and tracking performance metrics and campaign outcomes.
  • Review data collected from interviews, surveys, and brainstorming sessions, evaluating and sharing the results with the team.
  • Distribute high-profile press releases, pitch breaking news, and coordinate and prep speakers for important interviews.
  • Stay updated on the current marketplace and trends, learning new programs, technology, and software to introduce to the department as needed.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, influencing others to accept different points of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
  • Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity, understanding and recognizing the broader impact across the department.
  • Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the subject area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 6-10 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc., and a working understanding of SharePoint.
  • Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in public relations or media relations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Strong writing and editing skills for various communication formats.
